The central part of the solution is the various sites, fractions and reception facilities that are included in the operation. Here you can e.g. track filled containers, create pickup lists and handle carriers. Several of the functions are done with automated processes that save a lot and minimize errors.
The solution organizes the entire logistics of picking up containers from the recycling sites. When a container is full, the site employee scans the QR code on the container. It automatically adds it to the list of filled containers. As soon as containers on the list are reported ready for pickup, the system itself sends an email to the carrier with the order. If there is more than one container from the same recycling site that is to be transported with the same carrier, the system itself arranges to order a truck for more than one container.
In addition to all the relevant master data, landfills are registered in the system with information about what types of waste they receive. Therefore, the system automatically calculates where the filled containers are to be transported and which carrier they are to be transported with. There are no limits to the number of landfills you can register in the system and it can all be adjusted continuously if there are changes.
All containers to be picked up are automatically added to the pickup list. The individual recycling sites can see their own containers and also order pickup from the carrier. When an order has been sent, an order number is created, which means that the order can be tracked from start to finish in the system. The order number is also used to check the invoice from the carrier in relation to the actual order. The administrator can always see the entire pickup list and order pickup as needed, which can be ideal when the recycling sites are busy. At the same time, the administrator can also keep track of the total cost of transportation.
With the built-in GPS function and the integrated map, an automatic time tracking can be set up for machines on each individual fraction and the individual landfills. This is done by defining a geo fence, around each fraction and landfill. When a machine runs into a geo fence, time will starts. When the machine leaves the geo fence, or drives into a new area, time will stop again. The automatic time tracking is an effective tool to see the time spent on the various fractions and optimize the work processes. It all just requires that GPS devices are set up in the machines. We can supply both GPS devices that are mounted in the machine or battery-powered devices that are attached with a powerful magnet.
In addition to all the logistics at recycling sites and landfills, the platform also handles the overall fleet management for machines and cars. This means that you can keep track of service intervals and repairs on all the vehicles involved in the operation. If you move machines between recycling sites, or have machines that several sites share, you can register exactly where they are now and where they have been.
